Waterfront The Waterfront restaurant in Maalaea will re-open in 2012 in the Harbor Shops adjacent to Maui's aquarium. It was formerly in a condominium building nearby. Maalaea is at the south end of Maui's Central Valley. Dinner only. Phone 808-244-9028. The Maalaea Waterfront specializes in seafood. They have the most choices of fish preparations of any restaurant on Maui. Each evening they offer three to six kinds of fish prepared in any of nine different delicious ways. They also have meat and vegetarian entrees. There are indoor and outdoor tables. The view looks out over the harbor in Maalaea Bay, and on to Haleakala.
