Io Maui is the less-well-known sister restaurant of Pacific'O restaurant (same owners and same head chef). Both are side-by-side on the ocean in the 505 Front Street shopping center in Lahaina. I'o has the more modern decor, with indoor as well as outdoor seating. Dinner only. Phone 808-661-8422

I'o Maui makes menu changes based on available ingredients, so the following items may not all be available on the day you go. But here are examples of some of the menu choices as of 2006. (I'm sorry, but I can't include prices because they change.)

Appetizers:
Grilled calamari steak
Cowboy ribs
Crab napolean dynamite

Salads:
Macadamia brie with geens and pear
Capresse with mozzarella & arugula

Fish Entrees:
Three or four kinds of fish available in any of four or five preparations, including
Roasted & topped with crab salad & corn coconut sauce
Seared & topped with calamata olives & feta cheese
Grilled & served with tabouleh & veggies with tzatziki

Non-fish Entrees:
Lamb chops with Madras curry & porcini mushrooms
Filet mignon with tempura Maui onion
Risotto with tofu, mushroom & asparagus

Dessert:
Chocolate pate
Haupia cheesecake
Chocolate caramel macadamia tart
