Canoes is a longstanding Lahaina landmark, though it was formerly called Chart House. It's at the north end of Front Street (1450 Front Street), where Front meets the Honoapiilani Highway. Phone 808-661-0937.

Canoes menu includes what they claim is Maui's largest salad bar. They have a few outdoor tables with views of the road intersection and the ocean (with sunset view), plus more tables indoors, some of which also have partial ocean views. Prices are a little less than at Maui's most expensive fine dining restaurants.
