About Maui Brewing Company Kihei
Maui Brewing Company started in Kahana in 2005 with a small restaurant and brewery making craft beers. They expanded their beer production over the years and built a huge new brewery in Kihei. In 2018, they opened this Maui Brewing Company Restaurant adjacent to that large brewery building. They call the Kahana restaurant MBC Lahaina, and this restaurant next to the beer production facility is MBC Kihei.
Maui Brewing Company restaurant in Kihei is open for lunch, dinner, and late-night. There are indoor and outdoor tables. They are open during all the hours that tours are given in the brewery in the same building, so you can eat in the restaurant before or after your tour, as well as any other time you are in the area.
The lunch and dinner menus are the same. They have snacks & appetizers, salads, pizzas, sandwiches & burgers, entrees, children’s menu, and desserts. Of course, they also serve a wide variety of their own local craft beers.

Maui Breweries
For years, Maui Brewing Company had a monopoly over Maui brewed beers. Today there are several other breweries located on the island. While Maui Brewing Company remains the biggest and most acclaimed brewery on Maui, the smaller Kohola Brewing and Mahalo Aleworks are gaining recognition. Kohola Brewing operates out of Maui Brewing Company’s old Lahaina warehouse and has been open for several years. Their beers have already won a slew of local awards. In 2021, Mahalo Aleworks opened Upcountry in the Kulamalu Town Center. Mahalo Aleworks is committed to keeping things local, and the brewery even boasts its own orchard with a variety of different fruit. With a team of accomplished brewers, it won’t be long until Mahalo Aleworks starts winning awards as well.
