About Maui Dragon Fruit Farm

Dragon Fruit is a bright pink fruit with a white inside loaded with tiny seeds.  It grows on a variety of cactus plants called Hylocereus, which was originally from Mexico.  Maui Dragon Fruit Farm offers tours of their fields of dragon fruit plants. The scenery is beautiful, with the West Maui Mountains above and the ocean below this hillside farm.  On the walking tour of the Maui Dragon Fruit Farm, you will also see their many other plants, including bananas, papaya, pineapple, sugar cane, bamboo, and more. The season for dragon fruit on Maui is July to November, so only during those months will you see the actual fruits on the dragon fruit plants here.

This 20-acre Dragon Fruit Farm Maui also has two activities that you can participate in at extra cost, whether you do the walking tour of the farm or not.  The first is Aquaball, which involves you standing or sitting or rolling around in a large clear plastic ball that has a small amount of water in it. With you inside, the ball rolls down a long incline. The second activity is Zipline, in which you are hanging in the air, strapped in a harness that hangs from a long cable, that lets your ride fast from one tower to another for a few seconds.
