The Gazebo Maui is a small, hidden, out-of-the-way restaurant, but Maui residents and tourists have found it, and it is very popular. You too can find it, poolside at the Napili Shores condos, 5315 Lower Honoapiilani Road, in Napili (a few miles north of Kaanapali). Phone 808-669-5621. This is one of over 90 inexpensive Maui restaurants reviewed on this website.
The view at the Gazebo Maui is fabulous, since it’s right on the ocean adjacent to Napili Bay. Gazebo has the same menu through all the hours they are open, serving only breakfast and lunch from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. They have great pancakes, omelettes, salads, sandwiches, burgers and more. I love the coconut syrup they have available for the pancakes (though they also have traditional maple syrup). Their most famous dish is the huge serving of fried rice that includes chunks of meat and veggies (shown in one of the photos below).
The only problem with The Gazebo Maui is that there is always a waiting line to get in. Expect to wait outside for 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how crowded Maui is at the time you go. But the ocean view is great while you are waiting.
