Whalers Shopping Center and Restaurants
in the Middle of the Kaanapali Resorts
Whalers Village is the shopping center in the middle of Kaanapali Beach, centrally located between the major resort hotels of Maui’s West Side. It’s at 2435 Kaanapali Parkway, in easy walking distance from the Hyatt, Marriott, Kaanapali Alii, Westin, Whaler, Kaanapali Beach Hotel, and Sheraton. Open every day from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
More than 90 stores and restaurants sell everything you need: clothes, jewelry, art, souvenirs, and even real estate. There’s also a full-size whale skeleton.
Very good restaurants here are Hula Grill, Leilani’s, Monkeypod Kitchen, and (to make your own dessert sundaes) Yogurtland. In the lower level food court, some counter-service restaurants are Joey’s Kitchen, Nikki’s Pizza, Fresh Mexican, and Subway.
The free Kaanapali Trolley will take you between Whalers Village and the various hotels and condos along Kaanapali Beach, plus uphill to the Fairway Shops.
There’s a free hula show here several evenings per week (click for events schedule). Videos from two of those hula shows are at Hula Show videos.
