Kihei is an area on the south coast of Maui, containing numerous condos. But Maui Coast is one of the only hotels in Kihei. It has 265 rooms, of which 114 are suites. The rooms are small but nicely appointed. All rooms are in one 7-story building, built in 1991. Like most Kihei accommodations, Maui Coast Hotel is across the busy street from the ocean. The nearby beaches are Charley Young Beach and Kamaole Beach Park I.
