Roy’s is the best
Roy’s restaurant on Maui is in the golf course clubhouse at the entrance to Kaanapali Beach, at the corner of Honoapiilani Highway and Kaanapali Parkway. Phone 808-669-6999 for Roy’s Kaanapali. There are other Roy’s restaurants on three other Hawaiian islands, as well as in seven other states.
Roy Yamaguchi invented Hawaii’s Pacific Rim Cuisine, so that’s what you’ll find on the Roy’s Restaurant Maui menu. Some of my favorite appetizers here are the Szechwan baby back pork ribs and the crispy crab cakes. A fun and unusual salad is the Big Island beet salad. A couple of my favorite entrees are Roy’s blackened ahi, jade pesto mahi mahi, and honey mustard glazed short ribs. For dessert you absolutely must have the famous Roy’s hot chocolate souffle, which is far superior to lava cakes at any other restaurant anywhere.
Roys restaurant has a wall of large windows with a view of the golf course, with Kaanapali resorts and a small view of the ocean in the distance. They also have Maui’s tastiest food. It’s my personal favorite Maui restaurant because everything I have eaten there is delicious, and they frequently add new items to the menu, so there is always something new and wonderful to try.
For top service at Roy’s on Maui, ask for Susie or Brandon to be your waitress/waiter, and/or ask to meet the manager Matty, and tell Susie or Brandon and Matty that Jon and Rosie sent you.
