About Lava Rock Bar & Grill
This is one of the few restaurants on Maui that is open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night. They often have music and live entertainment, trying to disprove the usual statement that there is not much nightlife on Maui. There’s a large bar which often has sports on many TV’s. The whole large restaurant is on the second floor. The bar and about half of the seating are indoors, while the other half of the tables and chairs are open-air, out on a patio. All the chairs and tables are high-top. You can get a distant ocean view from the patio.
The menu is long. Breakfast has all the usual choices. Lunch and dinner have appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, entrees, and tacos.
This is not my kind of restaurant, but it’s a hit with the younger crowd.
