A Fianco is a small Italian lunch restaurant in the Old Lahaina Center, at 878 Front Street in Lahaina. Phone 808-667-7667.
Sale Pepe and this lunch restaurant have the same owners and chef, are both Italian, are next door to each other, and have an open connecting door. Sale Pepe is only open for dinner and A Fianco is only open for lunch. The lunch restaurant is much smaller and more casual than the dinner restaurant. A Fianco means “next door.”
The menu here is very short, with only about eight items to choose from. It is hand-written on the wall, and varies from day to day. There are a couple pizzas, a couple pastas, a couple salads, and a couple sandwiches. From this menu, I learned that “panino” is singular and “panini” is plural for sandwiches in Italian. It is also possible to order from the larger Sale Pepe dinner menu, even if you are here for lunch.

I am Jon and I love Maui. Writing about Maui has been my hobby for the past 30 years. This website is my effort to help you, whether a first-timer or repeat visitor, to have the best possible experience during your visit to Maui. The info here is based on my own research and experiences. I am not a travel agent and I don't sell anything, so my reports are unbiased. I have visited each of the hotels, condos, and sights, have eaten at all of the reviewed restaurants, and took almost all of the photos.
