The Queen Kaʻahumanu Center is Maui’s largest shopping mall. It is in Kahului, Maui’s largest city.

About Queen Kaʻhumanu Center

The Queen K Center is the location of Maui’s only two major department stores, Macy’s and Sears.  It has a six-screen movie theater.  It also has Bath & Body Works, Blue Ginger, Foodland, Famous Footwear, Kay Jewelers, Long’s Drugs, Ben Franklin, Starbucks, Game Stop, GNC, Lenscrafters, American Eagle, Hallmark, Victoria’s Secret, spa, food court, and over 100 stores and restaurants.  The two full-service restaurants with a wide variety of menus are Koho Grill and Any Kine Diner.  This shopping center is an open-air mall with a striking sail-like white covering.  This is the place where local Maui residents as well as visitors shop.

Checking Out Early?

If you have to check out of your hotel early on your last day on Maui, and you have time to wait before your flight departs, you can store your luggage free at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center while you dine at their restaurants, shop in any of their stores, watch a movie in their large theater, use their spa, check out their museum, or keep your kids busy in the children’s amusement center.

Queen Kaʻahumanu Center is open seven days per week.  They have free hula shows or a farmers market on some days.  The Center is named after Queen Kaʻahumanu (1768-1832), one of the wives of King Kamehameha. The shopping center was built in 1972, extensively remodeled in 1995, and has 572,896 square feet of leasable area.
