This is a marvelous store where you will find items that you will not find in the usual tourist shops. Native Intelligence carries authentic Hawaiian culture souvenirs and clothing, mostly made in Hawaii. There are bamboo stamps, hand-crafted jewelry, t-shirts with unusual Hawaiian designs, and clothing for kids and adults. Items made of wood, stone or bone include Surf Boards, Holua Sled, Poi Pounders, Pahu Drums, Weaponry, Paddles, Koa Boxes, and Rocking Chairs. Fiber and feather arts include Hats, Kapa, Baskets, Mats, Fans, Bags, Feather Kāhili, and Feather Hat Bands. There are leis made of fresh flowers, feathers or shells. There are books about Hawaiian Language, Plants and Gardening, Fishing and Voyaging, Myths and Legends, Hawaiian History, Hawaiian Philosophy and Thought, Places in Hawaiʻi, Biographies, Hula and Music, Cultural Crafts, Children’s Books and Coloring Books, Photography, and Maps. They even have hula supplies and Hawaiian music CD’s.
