About Polynesian Shores
The three two-story buildings, built in 1973, contain a total of 52 condos. Most have one bedroom, but a few have two or three bedrooms. They are not air-conditioned. Buildings A and C of Polynesian Shores Maui are closest to the ocean but angled perpendicular to the shore. Building B is farther from the ocean but faces directly toward the shore. All the rooms have an ocean view. The shoreline is rocky, with only a tiny area of sandy beach. Some small beaches are within a few minutes’ walk, but you will have to drive about five minutes to the nearest large beach at Kahekili Beach Park. There is a large grocery store just a couple minutes’ drive away.
Polynesian Shores has a good ocean view, with the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the distance. The grassy area around the pool is a beautiful place to watch the sunset.
