About Maui Kamaole
Like most condos in Kihei, Maui Kamaole is across the street from the beach. With 13 building clusters, most of the units are a long walk uphill. But even some of the back units have a distant ocean view because they are high enough on the hill to look over the buildings in front of them. Each building is three stories tall. The complex occupies 23 acres, with lots of grass, trees, and flowers. Maui Kamaole is more spread out and less dense than many other condo complexes.
Out of the total of 316 condo units, half are one-bedroom (1000 to 1300 square feet) and half are two-bedroom (1300 to 1600 square feet), but all have two bathrooms. Lanais (200 square feet) are larger than most other condos. All have air conditioners in the living room and bedroom. Each has a washer and dryer. The buildings in the front half of the complex were built in 1988, while those in the back half (farther uphill) were built in 2001. There are two heated swimming pools, a jacuzzi by the upper pool and a hot tub by the lower pool, and two tennis courts. There are BBQ units at each building.
The nearest beaches are Kamaole 3 and Keawakapu. There is no on-site rental agent, but there is a front desk and a resident manager. The largest agent handling these condos is Condominium Rentals Hawaii (866-975-1864), though some owners use other agents or rent on their own through VRBO.
