Backcountry ATV Tours on Maui

ATVs are All-Terrain-Vehicles.  They are small open-air 3 or 4-wheel off-road vehicles holding one or two people.

On a Maui ATV Tour, you get to drive through fields of dirt, mud, grass, and rocks, over hills and valleys, bouncing around and seeing great scenery.

ATV rides are MESSY.  You usually get splashed with dirt, mud, water, or cow-poop.  Wear old clothing and/or rent coverall clothing from the ATV company.

ATV tour operators have minimum ages for children before they are allowed to ride or drive, so check with the company about their rules if any kids are in your group.

See below for a discussion of some of the companies offering ATV tours on Maui.  Unfortunately, some companies have closed, and only the one discussed below remains as of 2021.
