Outback Steakhouse Outback Steakhouse has two locations on Maui. The Lahaina restaurant is in the Lahaina Gateway Center, across the main highway from the Lahaina Cannery Mall (Safeway), at 325 Keawe Street, phone 808-665-1822. The Kihei location is at 281 Piikea, phone 808-879-8400. Open for lunch and dinner. Outback is a national chain of Australia-themed restaurants. They feature steaks, but they also have a variety of appetizers, salads, chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta. And their most famous appetizer is a delicious high-calorie fried treat called the Bloomin' Onion. There's nothing Hawaiian about Outback Steakhouse. But if you want a steak in the same atmosphere you can get in most big cities across the country, here it is.
