Jawz Fish Tacos Jawz Fish Tacos Island Style Grill is a casual Mexican restaurant in the Azeka Mauka shopping center in Kihei. It's at 1279 South Kihei Road. Phone 808-874-8226. This location for Jawz restaurant CLOSED in 2013, but the truck is still in operation, and the restaurant will re-open at a new location in Kihei later this year. Jawz started as a place just selling tacos out of a truck, and you can still buy them that way, sometimes parked outside of Big Beach, south of Wailea. But I'm more comfortable getting their tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and fajitas in the restaurant. See below for a list of some menu items. Maui is not known for Mexican food, but you can find it here at Jawz.
