Java Jazz Java Jazz and Soup Nutz sound like two but are really one restaurant in openly connected spaces in one building, in the Honokowai Marketplace, the shopping center that includes the Times Market, where the Lower Honoapiilani Road branches off from the upper Honoapiilani Highway, a couple miles north of Kaanapali. It's at 3350 Lower Honoapiilani Road. Phone 808-667-0787. Java Jazz is a coffee shop and Soup Nutz is a restaurant, but they are really just one place, with one menu and one set of servers and one cashier. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they serve all the usual breakfast choices in the morning, and then the rest of the day they have salads, sandwiches, and appetizers, with entrees added to the list a dinner-time. There's even a kids menu. Loud recorded music all day, changing to loud live music many evenings. See below for some Java Jazz menu items and photos. This small casual restaurant serves a nice variety of very good food, but the music is sometimes too loud, especially in the evening. It's a convenient location if you are staying in the nearby condos in Honokowai or Kahana. ![]() For other restaurants in all price ranges on this side of Maui, click on West Maui Restaurants Lahaina Kaanapali Napili Kapalua. |
