Hula Grill

Hula Grill is the best restaurant in the Whalers Village shopping center in the middle of Kaanapali Beach. It has a casual section on sand called the "Barefoot Bar" (lunch and dinner) and a fine-dining more expensive section called the "Dining Room" (dinner only, but sometimes open for overflow seating at lunch). Hula Grill menu includes fresh fish and other choices with innovative preparations. The location is great for people-watching, as the tourists walk by on the Kaanapali Beach sidewalk. Tables are open-air with beautiful views of the ocean, especially at sunset. Prices are lower, and food is more casual, in the Barefoot Bar part of the restaurant, which is on a sandy floor. Reservations are needed at dinner in the Dining Room section, which has more upscale food. At dinner in the Dining Room only, ask for Vicki to be your waitress, or ask to meet the manager Orrin, and tell either of them that Rosie and Jon sent you. You will get great service.
