Sands of Kahana Condos in Kahana Sands of Kahana is a condo at 4299 Lower Honoapiilani Road in Kahana, an area of many condos about 12 miles north of Kaanapali Beach. Phone 808-669-0423. This condo has been converted into timeshares, but you can still rent a unit here for your vacation without owning or buying a timeshare. There are 196 units in four buildings (8 and 9 stories tall), including one- and two- and three-bedroom units. The complex is on a decent beach, so some of the units have good ocean views. There are tennis courts, volleyball court, exercise room, and BBQ's. A good restaurant, Kahana Sands, is on the property. The biggest problem is that these condos are not air conditioned, so it can get uncomfortably hot, especially in Maui's warmest months of May through November. If you can stay here without getting stuck buying a timeshare, and you don't mind getting along without air conditioning, it's a decent beachside condo. |
