Umalu is the casual poolside restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort Hotel on Kaanapali Beach. Phone 808-661-1234.

Umalu is larger and has a better menu and much better food than most hotel poolside restaurants. There are indoor and outdoor tables, packaged foods ready for carry-out, and a varied menu of excellent appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, desserts, and coffees. Open for lunch and dinner. See below for some specific menu items and photos.

If you are staying anywhere on Kaanapali Beach, I recommend you have at least one lunch at Umalu at the Hyatt.
