Pita Paradise Wailea

Pita Paradise Mediterranean Bistro in the Wailea Gateway shopping center is a casual restaurant in a modern setting, with excellent food. It is in the small new shopping center just uphill from the large upscale Shops at Wailea, at 34 Wailea Gateway Place, corner of the end of the Piilani Highway. Phone 808-879-7177.

This Pita Paradise has table service, and is larger and prettier than the older Pita Paradise Kihei location, which still exists. The menu is the same, and both are open for lunch and dinner. There are many choices of appetizers, entree salads, pita sandwiches, pasta, and entrees, mostly with a Mediterranean flair. The most interesting thing about their wonderful fresh fish, is that the chef-owner, John Arabatzis, catches the fish himself. There is a large mural in the restaurant, depicting him fishing and bringing his catch to the restaurant to cook and serve.

Pita Paradise Wailea is a great place for very good food at prices that are lower than other Maui restaurants with such good food and pleasant ambiance and friendly service.
