Matteo's Pizzaria is a casual Italian restaurant just uphill from the Shops at Wailea. It's at 100 Ike Drive. Phone 808-874-1234.

Matteo's does not have waiters/waitresses. You wait in line at the restaurant entrance, to order your food at the counter, where they give you a number for your order. Then you wait at a table until the food is ready, and a "runner" brings the food out to your table. There are inside tables as well as open-air tables on a porch. The pizzas and pastas are very tasty and portions are generous.

If you don't mind the line or the counter-order system, Matteo's is a good place for pizza and pasta in Wailea.
