Manana Garage is a businessperson's restaurant in an office building in Kahului, with some of the best food on Maui. It's at 33 Lono Avenue (corner of Kaahumanu) in the green Kahului Office Building. Phone 873-0220.

Manana Garage bills itself as Latino or South American or Mexican food, but it's a lot more than that. The decor is colorful, friendly and casual, but the food is fine-dining quality. Some of the food is spicy, so ask before ordering if that is a concern. Open for dinner every day, and for lunch Monday-Saturday. Manana Garage is by far the best restaurant in Kahului. If you want to get away from the tourists and eat where the local business people eat, this is the place.
