     At 3600 Lower Honoapiilani Road, in a small strip shopping center, a couple miles north of Kaanapali.  The very best take-out food on Maui.  As a matter of fact, the top-priced $15 fish entrees here are just as good as the $30 to $35 fish dinners at Maui's most expensive restaurants, even though this place has less atmosphere than McDonalds.  Ask about tonight’s fresh fish dinner specials.  More details including menu and photos at this link:

   Delicious big servings of garlic noodles with fish or chicken, as well as other tasty selections, are available at the food booth at the Maui Swap Meet every Saturday in Kahului (7 AM to 1 PM), and at the “Maui’s Own” Craft Fair at the Lahaina Civic Center most Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM.  Tell Corrie (doing the cooking) that Rosie and Jon sent you.

     Adjacent to the food court, upstairs at the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului.  Tasty sushi that is fun to select as the plates pass in front of you on a conveyor belt.  Sushi is NOT all raw fish!  My favorite dish here is “miso chili salmon” which is very tasty baked salmon on a bowl of sticky rice.

     At 1285 Front Street in the north end of Lahaina, across the street from the ocean side of the Lahaina Cannery Mall.  Traditional Hawaiian style plate lunches of pork, beef, chicken, or fish, with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad.  Lovely setting of outdoor tables with ocean view.
