Christmas Concert by Na Leo Lani O Maui
November at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center
The Maui Choir presents a Christmas concert every November or December. Maui Choral Arts will put on a Christmas concert for 2016 on November 27 at 7:00 PM at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. I attended the Maui Choir concert in the past and it was excellent.
Maui’s favorite community choir, Na Leo Lani O Maui, invites you to join them for their annual holiday concert, “Maui Kalikimaka”, at the Aaliikuhonua Creative Arts Center on the Seabury Hall campus in Makawao. This enchanting evening will dazzle and delight as the choir, along with Kumu Uluwehi Guerrero and special guests, sing gorgeous melodies of the season and luscious Hawaiian favorites.
The rich harmony of over 80 heavenly voices, directed in partnership by Guerrero and Gale Wisehart, will fill your heart with joy. Na Leo Lani O Maui has been described as ‘an inspiration’ and any in attendance at their past concerts will attest to the amazing feeling one has by listening and witnessing their passion for song and Hawaiian culture and language.
