Maui Christmas Concert The Maui Choir presents a Christmas concert in the Iao Theater in Wailuku every December. I attended this concert on December 17, 2011, and it was excellent. Maui’s favorite community choir, Na Leo Lani O Maui, invites you to join them for their annual holiday concert, “Starry, Starry Night”, at the historic Iao Theatre in Wailuku. This enchanting evening on will dazzle and delight as the choir, along with Kumu Hula Uluwehi Guerrero and special guests, sing gorgeous melodies of the season and luscious Hawaiian favorites. The rich harmony of over 80 heavenly voices, directed in partnership by Guerrero and Gale Wisehart, will fill your heart with joy. Na Leo Lani O Maui has been described as ‘an inspiration’ and any in attendance at their past concerts will attest to the amazing feeling one has by listening and witnessing their passion for song and Hawaiian culture and language. Assigned-seating tickets are available starting in November, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Ka’ahumanu Church.
