Maui Theater in Lahaina

The Maui Theater (often spelled Maui Theatre, and formerly called Maui Myth and Magic) is the home of Ulalena. This is a live musical stage show about the history and mythology of the Hawaiian islands.

Ulalena is a cirque du soleil style show, with amazing acrobatics and dancing and special effects. It is done in the Hawaiian language, so be sure to read the English playbill that you receive as you enter, so that you can understand who the characters are and what the story is about. The music is mostly drums and chants.

Maui Theater seats 680 people. It's at 878 Front Street in the Old Lahaina Center. Phone 877-688-4800 for ticket information.
