On the left is an aerial view map of the Lahaina Bypass, which started construction in 2010 and finished in 2013, from Keawe to Hokiokio. The north (upper) 0.8 miles of the marked sections opened to traffic in March of 2013, and the rest of the marked section (1.7 miles more) opened at the end of 2013. WIDEN THIS PAGE TO FULL-SCREEN SIZE to see the below photos in order. (Further extensions of the Lahaina Bypass north of Keawe and south of Hokiokio will not be built for many more years.)

Upper blue balloon = north end of this part of the bypass, at the corner of Keawe Street and Honoapiilani Highway.
Middle blue balloon = middle of the bypass where is crosses Lahainaluna Road.
Bottom blue balloon = south end of the bypass at the corner of Hokiokio Place and Honoapiilani Highway.
The lower blue line is Hokiokio Place.
The upper blue line is Keawe Street.
