Royal Kahana
CondosRoyal Kahana is a large condo
building on West Maui, about 12 minutes (5 miles) north of Kaanapali Beach.
It is fully air conditioned, unlike many of the less expensive condos in

The Royal Kahana offers studio, one-bedroom and
two-bedroom condos, all with full kitchens. Some have good ocean
views, but other units in the building face away from the ocean. There
are 236 units in the single 12-story building. Built in 1975. The pool is fairly
small. The beach is somewhat narrow and has some large rocks.
There are a fitness room, barbecue facilities, tennis courts, and activity
desk on the premises.
Royal Kahana is just a 6 minute walk (or 2 minute
drive) from the Kahana Gateway shopping center. There you will find
several small stores and three restaurants:
Roy's, Fish and Game, and McDonald's.
If you want a condo that is not right in the main
Kaanapali Beach resort area (thus saving you some money), Royal Kahana is a
good place to consider.
