Napili Kai
Condos Napili Kai Resort is a condo complex at the north end of Napili, just south of Kapalua, about 15 minutes north of Kaanapali Beach. Phone 808-669-6271. This is one of the larger and better accommodations in the Napili section of west Maui. Its 11 buildings (mostly 2-story) have a total of 162 units, including hotel rooms, studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom condos. Most have kitchens and almost all have a partial ocean view. Built in 1962. Napili Kai Beach Resort is in a beautiful quiet beach location on Napili Bay. There are four swimming pools, a large outdoor whirlpool spa, an 18-hole putting course plus a smaller putting course for children, free parking and no resort fees. The beach cabana has free coffee and juice in the morning, and they have free lei making and hula lessons. Children's activities are also free, making this a good place for families. There's even a weekly keiki (children) hula show (not free). (Call to check for any change in charges for any of the above.) There can be a little more rain in the Napili area than in Kaanapali, primarily in the winter. The Seahouse Restaurant on the property has beautiful sunset views. If you want a low-rise condo away from the crowds, on a beautiful beach, Napili Kai is a very good place to stay. See photos below. |
