Kamaole Sands Condos in
Kihei Kamaole Sands is a large condo group at 2695 South Kihei Road, in the south part of Kihei. Phone 808-874-8700. Like most Kihei condos, Kamaole Sands is across the street from the ocean, not on the beach. But it is across from Kamaole III (Kam 3) which is a good beach park. There are 440 units in ten 4-story buildings, built in 1983. Each unit has air conditioning in the living room (and adjacent kitchen), but not in the bedrooms. However, some owners have added a window or wall air conditioner in a bedroom, so you can ask whether such a condo is available. There are one, two and three-bedroom units, some including lofts. In addition to the main swimming pool, there is a kiddie pool and two Jacuzzis. Barbecues, workout room, ping-pong table and four tennis courts are on the property. There is an activity desk and a morning island orientation with continental breakfast. Most units, and the grounds, are better kept up than in some other Kihei condos. Restaurants and shops are an easy half-mile walk away. Click for a discount price at Kamaole Sands for your desired travel dates. If you can get along without air conditioning in your bedroom (or get one of the condos that has added that feature), and if you don't mind a walk across the street to the beach, then Kamaole Sands is a very good place to stay.
