Kaanapali Alii condos
Maui Kaanapali Alii is the most luxurious condo building on Kaanapali Beach, my favorite Maui location. It is at 50 Nohea Kai Drive, between the Marriott and the Westin. Phone 808-667-1400. Since it is a condo, it does not have as elaborate grounds and lobbies as the big hotels, and there are no shops or restaurants in the building. But it has much more elaborate multiple pools than other condos have, and it has a large modern fitness center. There are BBQ's for you to use near the pools. It is in easy walking distance of resort hotels, restaurants, Whalers Village shopping center, snorkeling and all beach activities. As a condo, it gives you more space and a full kitchen, which you would not get in a hotel. Kaanapali Alii consists of 264 luxury condos in four 11-story buildings. The one-bedroom units have about 1500 square feet and the two-bedroom units have about 1800 square feet. All are air conditioned, unlike some of the less expensive condos on Maui. Built in 1982.
