Honua Kai Condos in Kaanapali - Honokowai

Honua Kai is a large condo complex just north of Kaanapali Beach, at 130 Kai Malina Parkway, near the corner of the Honoapiilani Highway and the Lower Honoapiilani Road. Phone 808-662-2800.

Honua Kai has two 10-story buildings with a total of 628 condo units, built in 2009. (They plan to add several small surrounding townhouse condo buildings in the future.) This is a modern luxury condominium with studios and one and two and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 580 to 2650 square feet. The majority of units have at least a partial ocean view from their lanai. All units have air conditioning, full kitchen, washer & dryer, flat screen TV, and wireless internet. On the property are a spa, fitness center, market cafe, and very good full-service Dukes restaurant. There are several large pools. The long beach is uncrowded because it is about a mile away from the main Kaanapali Beach resort area.

Honua Kai is a beautiful place to stay because it is one of the newest condos on Maui, luxuriously appointed, on a good beach. Its only minor disadvantage is that it is over a mile walk from the main Kaanapali Beach hotel-condo resort area.
